I was raised in a world view that felt confined by rigid structures, my first encounters with entheogenic plants shattered the illusion of separation. In a moment of shared awareness, I touched something vast—something that books, religions, and logic had only hinted at. This began my lifelong exploration into the nature of consciousness, healing, and the wisdom carried by plants.
In my teens and 20s, I embarked on a spiral journey of discovery; regularly exploring my consciousness with plant entheogens, both individually and organizing small groups of likeminded friends to have shared journeys. I learned from direct experience, from my own perception, from being immersed in nature, and from the wise words of Eastern non-dual philosophy and mysticism. I grew my hair and beard, feeling drawn to leave society behind and join an ashram in pursuit of unity consciousness (pretty stereotypical "finding of self" journey), but the pull of the unknown world clashed with the budding renunciate tendencies within me. I had barely left my home state, let alone traveled much, and I longed to explore, learn, and see the world.
I decided to leave higher education partway through my experience there, realizing that it was not likely that I was going to find what I was deeply seeking in that forum. I chose instead to dedicate myself to the study of plants, and consciousness. In 2011 I had the opportunity to participate in a plant medicine experience with Grandmother and as I stepped into that sacred container, something inside me clicked. The way the space was held, the protocol, the music—it all felt like a missing piece of a puzzle I had been unconsciously assembling for years. From that moment forward, my focus became singular: to become a channel and conduit for these mystical and transformative experiences, sharing them with others in a way that is both respectful and safe.
Now after all of my time traveling, absorbing, sensitizing, and learning from plants in so many different ways, I've come to the point of offering back in sacred reciprocity for the gifts I've received. I have been an herbalist for over 15 years, working with a tremendous variety of plants, creating alchemical preparations like spagyrics and first order elixirs, and working with plants both subtle and profound to effect healing and radical transformation on all of the levels of the human experience; physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. I travel and offer ceremonial plant mediations, craft herbal remedies and offerings, give lectures on the varied ways in which we can commune with and learn from these beautiful allies, as well as offering 1:1, full spectrum health and spiritual coaching; drawing from a varied and eclectic background encompassing physical fitness, organic and holistic dietary practices, herbal remedies and support, mindfulness practices, and ceremonial magic.
